Adverbs of manner

An adverb of manner describes a verb. It tells us how something is done.

Going to for future

To talk about the future we use three different verb-forms:

  • will/shall future
  • Going to for future
  • The present continuous for future.

Modal verbs

Can, Could, be able to

Past Continuous tense.

was/were + -ing

Past simple tense : using irregular verbs.

The Past simple tense is the tense that we most often use to talk about the past.
